Intelligent IoT Sensing Module Based on LeapFive BF2

 

 

 

LeapFive has launched an IoT sensing core module based on the BF2 chip, which can effectively upgrade commercially available sensors intelligently, thus providing powerful support for sensor solutions and applications.

As the foundation of the overall architecture of IoT, the sensing layer is a crucial link between the physical world and the information world. The Micro IoT Sensing Core Unit

Based on the open-source and self-contained RISC-V architecture SoC chip, LeapFive has launched a micro IoT sensing core module that enables basic electrical parametric measurement functions and saves space and cost through hardware miniaturization design. The module has multi-channel remote and local communication channels, which can support switching and analog input and output. It can also support various wired and wireless IoT channels for downstream connectivity, connect multiple sensors, realize a unified programmable protocol stack, as well as incorporate blockchain SDK and support customized development.

 

 

The Micro IoT sensors

The micro IoT sensors can collect various environmental data as needed. Due to their size complying with the miniature standard and adopting standardized development, they have uniform specifications, interfaces, and communication protocols, saving space and costs, and facilitating unified management.

• Intelligent O&M of sensor devices
In traditional solutions, the maintenance of sensors usually requires periodic manual checks and replacements, and the platform has low utilization. In this solution, when a sensor fails, the system can automatically report it to the platform through the interaction between the micro IoT sensing core unit and the platform. The platform uses algorithms to determine the cause of the problem and proposes corresponding processing suggestions. In addition, the relevant APP promptly prompts the staff to check the sensor and facilitates timely processing of sensor issues.

• Assisted data analysis
The data analysis algorithm in the platform can be customized according to customer needs to assist in the analysis and processing of sensor data. Users can also view the analysis results and suggestions directly on the app, saving decision-making time and responding to problems more quickly.

• Interconnectivity technology
This solution uses Wi-Fi + Bluetooth dual-mode chips to realize cloud-based and local LAN-based interconnectivity technology. In addition, this solution also supports Bluetooth Mesh technology, enabling interconnectivity between devices.
